August edition of the Bad!Slam! No!Biscuit! poster.
The artwork and headline is a drawing I did in 0.05 fine line pen, traced digitally and blown up. The girls were twins, drawn from life one sunny evening in Richmond after work.
The line ‘sugar-coated satan sandwich’ comes from a recent article in the Guardian.
Intended to be printed A3.

June edition of the Bad!Slam! No!Biscuit! poster, it was very last minute as I’d forgotten about it due to my upcoming move, but I’m really happy with it.
The photograph is one I took of a dead bee I found in a driveway on one of my first days back in Australia. Poor little guy.

Latest design for Bad!Slam! No!Biscuit! a poetry slam event. Word chaos every month at The Phoenix bar in Canberra, Australia.
A photo I took at the Camden Stables markets earlier in the week of some construction workers behind a gate with text from the Facebook message thread from the organiser regarding the poster.
It’s designed to be written on in correction fluid or a white or metallic texta.

Annual report for the Integrity Commissioner, or ACLEI, an Australian Government department.
The design was done by 2B Advertising & Design. As a freelancer I received the designs, typeset and artworked the entire project, dealing directly with the client through to final art. The client was so happy with how smoothly the project went, he gave me fresh eggs from his farm as a thank you!
Examples of the internal pages are available on request.

Design for Bad!Slam! No!Biscuit! a poetry slam event. Word chaos every month at The Phoenix bar in Canberra, Australia.
Designed to be scrawled on in black texta with the details of the event every month.
The background is a dada-style poem I made that was presented at the event, it’s been scanned and overlayed to create the chaotic imagery.

Postcards created for Canberran street artist E.L.K’s solo exhibition ‘how you like me now, bitch?’. These designs were done while working at 2B Advertising in 2010.
The job included recreating/improving the logo from a printed business card supplied by the artist.

Example of internals with tables from a job I worked on at Grey Worldwide for Canberra Investment Corporation Limited, a major residential developer based in Canberra.
Working with the creative director and designers, I provided the typesetting and artworking for this document as well as many others (lots of over time!) as a part of a major submission to the Northern Territory government for the development of a new suburb in Darwin. CIC won the submission and the Darwin suburb of Lyons continues to grow.

Examples of books and journals I have provided typesetting and artworking for during my time at various design agencies in Canberra, Australia.
I regularly produced the Emergency Services Australia journal, Quest a magazine aimed at the adult education industry, and many annual reports for Australian Government departments.
